Maddy DeGenova is a recent graduate of Colgate University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in political science and a minor in peace and conflict studies with a focus in international social justice. She is passionate about human rights, with a special interest in reforming the criminal justice system as well as social and political reforms to combat poverty. She also enjoys doing communications and marketing work, particularly with regards to social media. Maddy is an extremely personable person, diligent worker, and strong writer. Maddy loves meeting new people and experiencing new environments and adventures. She continued to develop these passions and her love of traveling during her time studying abroad in Florence, Italy in the fall of 2011 and during her recent travels in Thailand and Cambodia in the summer of 2013. Maddy enjoys being constantly challenged and always looks for new opportunities to learn and grow.
